PRICES:
There are several different prices for each residential workshop, depending on the type of bedroom you choose (single, twin, double, 3+ beds or non-resident), occupancy (shared or single) the bathroom facilities (en-suite, private or shared) and, in some cases, the building / view you choose.
There are a very limited number of accessible rooms, that have been fully adapted for disabled people. If you need one of these, contact Faith as you can’t book them through the website. If you are OK with a regular room, as long as it has level access / limited steps / shower not bath etc, then book the type of roomyou want and describe in detail what you need (under special requirements) during the online booking process. If we can’t find a room to suit your needs, your payment will be fully reimbursed.
The price for each type of room shows in the drop down box for each workshop, and you can see them all in the tables below.
The prices shown are per room so, for example, if you want a twin room for 2 people, then the price covers both people. (NB. This is a change from the previous Singing for Larks website).
Residential package: accommodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner for every 24 hour stay, hot drinks and tuition.
Non-residential package: all of the above except bed and breakfast. NB. It’s usually possible to add breakfasts if you prefer – please arrange this with Singing for Larks in advance.
Non-activity Guests: It may be possible to accommodate guests who don’t want to join in the singing. Contact Faith for availability.
There is an early bird discount if you pay the full amount 10 weeks or more in advance. The discount price will show automatically when you book for a workshop in time.
A limited number of places may be made available at a reduced rate. Contact Faith to discuss this.

PAYMENT:
You are asked to pay the full amount at the website checkout, using a secure card payment method. This method alerts Singing for Larks that your payment has been made and completes the transaction, securing your place. If you pay by bank transfer or cheque, please be aware that your place will only be secure once Singing for Larks has received your payment.
If you prefer to pay a deposit of £50 initially, you’ll need to select the option to pay by bank transfer (or cheque if this is your only option). It is then your responsibility to pay the balance at least 10 weeks before the start of the workshop (for the early bird discount price) or 4 weeks before the start of the workshop (for the full price). Please note, Singing for Larks is not able to send a reminder when your balance is due and, if you haven’t paid the balance by 4 weeks before the start of the workshop, Singing for Larks will assume that you no longer want your place.
To pay by bank transfer: Pay into the following account:

- Please only choose to pay by cheque if you have no other way of paying.

BOOKING CONDITIONS:
For all residential workshop bookings there is a £20 admin fee per person you’re booking for, which is non-returnable and non-transferable unless the workshop is cancelled or the date or location is changed, making it impossible for you to attend.
If you are unable to attend a residential workshop for any other reason:
- Singing for Larks will only be able to refund some money under certain circumstances (see below) so you may wish to take out travel insurance.
If you give at least 10 weeks notice:
- Singing for Larks will retain the £20 admin fee per person who is cancelling.
- Singing for Larks will refund the remainder of the payment for the person / people cancelling.
If you give between 4 and 10 weeks notice:
- Singing for Larks will retain £50 per person who is cancelling (£20 admin fee plus £30 cancellation fee).
- Singing for Larks will refund the remainder of the payment for the person / people cancelling.
If you give less than 4 weeks notice but you find somebody to take your place:
- Your place can simply be transferred to the new person, with no additional fee, as long as you sort out any exchange of money and all other details remain the same.
- If some details need amending (room / personal requirements etc) there will be a £20 admin fee per person cancelling.
If you give less than 4 weeks notice and you don’t find anyone to replace you:
- Singing for Larks is no longer able to offer any refund at this stage, and will retain the full payment for the person / people cancelling.
- You are strongly advised to take out insurance for this reason.
If Faith Watson is unable to lead a workshop:
- Singing for Larks will aim to find a replacement leader so the workshop can go ahead. If you choose not to attend, your rights are as above.
