Description
This song has a melody and a three-part echo / backing. It’s fairly short, but singers will need to concentrate on the rhythm, which is not the same for all the parts. Although it’s not one of those songs that people can pick up instantly, I would describe this song as: Quite Easy.
I wanted to create a short, fairly simple, light-hearted song that groups could sing… for the pure joy of it; something that would give singers enough to concentrate on musically, whilst offering a fairly quick, jolly reward. I had the phrase: “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” running around my head so I googled other similar sayings… and played with them.
